Babe Ruth Signed Fresh Meadow Golf Club Scorecard PSA/DNA Authentic
SULTAN OF SWAT AUTO!!! The incomparable George Herman "Babe" Ruth not only had a burning passion for America's Pastime, but likewise yearned to be on a golf course as much as possible. Indeed, the Babe loved playing 18 holes, spending much of his free time mixing it up on the golf course with celebrities, legendary golfers and friends at some of the country's most prestigious courses. One such venue was the Fresh Meadow Golf Course in Flushing, Long Island, with this four-page unscored Fresh Meadows scorecard boldly signed "Babe Ruth" in vertical fashion. Scripted in black fountain pen on the scorecard's interior left side, the signature portrays 7/8 strength, with the relatively clean program authenticated by PSA and reflecting no notable surface flaws. The flip-side's front cover is likewise in stellar condition, exhibiting an elaborate FRESH MEADOW GOLD COURSE insignia as well as the course's local rules. While we are unsure as to the exact time this program was signed by the immortal Sultan of Swat, what we do know with 100% certainty is that whether it was pitching a baseball, clouting a horsehide sphere or playing 18 holes on a sunny day, Ruth set the bar for ultimate perfection via his God-given crafts!
