1969-70 Topps Basketball Complete Set Including Eight PSA-Graded w/a PSA 4.5 Alcinder RC
The 1969-70 basketball release was the first for the Topps Company since the rookie-laden 1957 issue and the first in a run that continues in this hobby today, some 50 years later. Offered here is a complete 1969-70 Topps Basketball set, both graded and ungraded. The eight graded examples have been encased by PSA as follows: #1 Chamberlain PSA 5 MK (tiny red ink line near the upper left edge), #20 Havlicek PSA 5, #25 Alcindor PSA 4.5 (tiny corner crease at the upper right corner/doesn't break gloss), #50 Robertson PSA 6, #60 Reed, #90 West (did not meet minimum size requirement), #98 Frazier PSA 6 & #99 Checklist PSA 6. The remainder of the set remain ungraded and in EX to EX-MT condition virtually throughout. Any downgrading from near-mint or better is due to tiny technicalities (usually confined to the tips of one or more corners on each card). This is one of the nicest sets you will find graded at this level.
