1961 Essex Meats St. Louis Hawks Complete Set
Offered here is the 13-card 1961 Essex Meats St. Louis Hawks Basketball set, which though missing Sihugo Green, is still considered complete. Given the extreme short printing of the Green card, only one example of this ultra-rare card has been graded by PSA over three decades of grading. Key players among this scarce regional are Clyde Lovellette (EX-MT+) and Robert Lee "Bob" Pettit, Jr. (EX – small touch on the upper right corner). The balance of the set presents EX to EX-MT of better and appear to have never been handled. Cable, Hagan and Hill display a light strip of toning along the left edge. Own this rare regional from the reigning Western Division Champions.
