The battles in the lane between Boston Celtics center Bill Russell and Los Angeles Lakers Wilt Chamberlain were legendary. In 1962, Wilt Chamberlain raised the bar with his "100-point" game, but it is hard to argue with Bill Russell's five NBA MVPs and an unmatched 11 NBA championships. The Stilt led the NBA in scoring seven times and rebounds 11 times, won four MVPs, but only mustered two NBA titles. Offered here is a phenomenal 8" x 10" Darryl Norenberg original Type 1 photograph of Russell defending against the ball handling Chamberlain. Havlicek and Sam Jones assist in the background. This wonderful image carries the photography notes on the reverse with Norenberg's stamping.
