'65 AS HOME RUN!!! The National League jumped out to a first inning lead as Willie Mays cracked a leadoff home run to left. The American League tied the game at 5-5 in the fifth and the NL finally capped off a victory with a Ron Santo single in the 7th. Offered here is an original Type 1 United Press International photograph showing Hank Aaron greeting Willie Mays at home plate after his 1st inning homer as Twins catcher Earl Battey and umpire Johnny Stevens look on. This wonderful 8" x 10" photo has been encapsulated Authentic by PSA and remains in excellent condition. Light edge wear at the borders with a small crease at the lower left corner. The back displays the UPI stamping with a ballpoint notation describing the scene. The National League topped the AL squad 6-5 for the win. A fantastic All-Star moment with two superstars!
