1924 GIANTS!!! Led by legendary HOF managers Hughie Jennings and John McGraw as well as seven Cooperstown inductees (George Kelly, Frankie Frisch, Ross Youngs, Travis Jackson, Billy Southworth, Hack Wilson, and Bill Terry), the NY Giants would capture their fourth consecutive NL pennant in 1924 via a 93-61 record. Although they would fall short to Walter Johnson's Washington Senators in a nail-biting seven-game contest, this circa 1924 PSA Type 1 Giants team photo is the perfect testament to their four-year dominance of the Senior Circuit. Interestingly enough, due to a John McGraw illness, coach Hughie Jennings would manage the Giants from May 21st through July 8th, with McGraw not included in this team photo. The lower left corner chip does not compromise the critical central image, and the verso's significant caption lists all the players and coaches including all the Hall of Famers listed above with the exception of McGraw.
