1967 Topps #400 Roberto Clemente PSA 9 MINT
BEST SEASON!!! The 1966 season was the best of Pittsburgh Pirates Roberto Clemente's career all-around. In 1960, he helped the Pirates win the National League pennant and the World Series, but his best season was still to come. In 1966, Clemente did not lead any offensive category but finished that year with a .317 average (3rd), 105 runs (4th), 202 hits (2nd), 31 homers (9th) and 119 RBIs (2nd). Did we mention his sixth consecutive Gold Glove? Across the board, it was his best and the most consistent of all players that year, earning him the National League MVP Award. Offered here is a 1967 Topps #400 Bob Clemente card in a 9 MINT holder from PSA highlighting that spectacular year. This extraordinary example displays spot-on centering, and razor-sharp corners and perimeter. The imagery is clear and concise while the text on the reverse is boldly printed against a green and white background. This example is well worthy of Clemente's MVP stature from the season to which it represents.
