1934 Gold Medal Flour Complete PSA Registered Set - #2 on Set Registry with 8.29 GPA
The 1934 Gold Medal Foods (R313A) release initially featured 12 cards, once thought to promote the 1934 championship St. Louis Cardinals, but with additional players emerging from the Detroit Tigers, the set represents the 1934 Fall Classic combatants. This premium set was issued as a set that was sent to fans in a small brown envelope with the Gold Medal Foods return address on the front. These unnumbered, blank-backed set of black-and-white cards originally included Hall of Famers Mickey Cochrane, Dizzy & Daffy Dean, Frankie Frisch, Goose Goslin and Joe Medwick, to name a few. Offered here is a complete PSA-graded set, #2 on PSA's Set Registry, boasting an 8.296 GPA, featuring many of the previously mentioned ballplayers in low-pop, with many as the highest graded example.
