(LOT 1727)
Pair of Baltimore Orioles Team Signed OAL Baseballs from 1983 (25 Sigs) & 1985 (24 Sigs) - Vintage Cal Ripken & Eddie Murray - PSA/DNA LOA

The Baltimore Orioles were dominant during the 1970s, winning the decade-opening 1970 World Series, winning two American League pennants and falling just short on two other occasions. In 1983, the Orioles were a rebuilt titan featuring future Hall of Famers Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer and Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. Leading the AL East for much of the season, Baltimore won the division, toppled the Chicago White Sox in the ALCS and then dispatched the Philadelphia Phillies in five games to win the club's third World Series. Presented here are two OAL baseballs including a 1983 World Series championship team ball and 1985 team signed ball. 1) 1983 team -signed Orioles ball of the World Series champs which includes Sammy Stewart, Rick Dempsey, Cal Ripken, Sr. and Mike Boddicker as well as vintage autos of Hall of Famers Murray and Ripken, Jr., and 19 others. The heavily toned baseball displays a consistent yellow hue with all signatures still "7-9" strength. 2) 1985 Orioles team-signed ball signed by 24 players and coaches including Dennis Martinez, Stewart, Boddicker, Dempsey and Ripken, Sr. as well as Murray and Ripken, Jr. This horsehide sphere displays moderate toning with some heavier areas, but the signatures present in "7-9" strength" with little fading or sun damage. PSA/DNA LOA included.
