(LOT 1711)
Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Index Card PSA/DNA Authentic

Nicknamed "Old Pete" and "Alexander the Great," Grover Cleveland Alexander was a pitcher who played from 1911 to 1930 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and St. Louis Cardinals. He was elected to Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1938, becoming the only player inducted that year, highlighting his legendary status. This index card features a stunning signature in beautiful fountain pen ink, showcasing his full name — a rarity, as many of his previous signatures only included initials and part of his last name. This piece represents a remarkable example from a World Series champion, three-time Triple Crown winner, six-time NL wins leader, four-time NL ERA leader, and six-time NL strikeout leader, among numerous other accolades.
