SUPER RARE MANTLE COMPLETE BOX!!! By 1959, Mickey Mantle was a superhero. The boyish Bronx Bomber astounded baseball fans and millions of youthful acolytes with his monstrous home runs, jackrabbit speed and winning mentality that earned him seven World Series titles and two American League MVP awards. His 1956 MVP followed his Triple Crown season when he led the AL in home runs (52), batting (.353) and RBIs (130), only the 10th player since 1900 to win the elusive trip. In 1959, Bazooka Bubble Gum issued 23 full-color unnumbered cards on the outside of their retail boxes, which were then hand-cut by consumers to complete the rare-in-high-grade baseball set. Mickey Mantle was the obvious choice to anchor the set along with Hank Aaron, Don Drysdale, Willie Mays and Duke Snider, among others. Offered here is a 1959 Bazooka Complete Box featuring the Commerce Comet holdered Authentic by PSA.
