GREATEST ATHLETE!!! Offered here is a rare 1912 Henzel Real Photo Postcard from the Carlisle Indian School featuring Jim Thorpe. This black and white, in-studio image measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" with Thorpe at top and a lower footer stating "JAMES THORPE (Indian) – FROM THE CARLISLE INDIAN SCHOOL – THE WORLD'S CHAMPION ATHLETE". Aging is apparent, but no significant flaws are evident for the PSA 3 VG encapsulated example.
