(LOT 18)
1910 T215 Red Cross Type 1 Joe Tinker Bat on Shoulder PSA 6 EX-MT – POP 1; The Sole & Highest Graded Example on Any Professional Grading Pop Chart!

POP 1 RED CROSS!!! One of the rarest tobacco ad backs are the ultra-elusive 1910 T215 Red Cross Type 1 subjects. This magnificent PSA 6 Joe Tinker Bat on Shoulder POP 1 rarity just happens to be the SOLE 6 EX-MT example on any company's census report, with only four other inferior peers known to exist! Also consider that the COMBINED PSA and SGC Pop Charts only list a single higher graded specimen for ALL known subjects (a PSA 8 Cy Young), with only two other copies (Hartsel & McGraw) managing to achieve the lofty 6 grade. Joe Tinker's brilliant batting image exhibits fine centering, crystal-clear clarity, and bright yellow and gray hues. No notable creasing is evident, and the mild corner wear is consistent with the assessment. Yet, the most significant aspect is the ultra-rare RED CROSS advertisement, ranked by T206 Resource as one of the top ten scarcest tobacco ad backs!
