ELDRICK!!! Golfing phenom Tiger Woods' arrival on the PGA Tour was the most anticipated of any golfer in history. Even Nicklaus didn't receive the coverage and hype that Woods commanded with so many of his amateur accomplishments lauded in the media. After Woods turned pro in August of 1996, his first victory came only two months later at the Las Vegas Invitational. This was the first of 82 PGA Tour victories, including 15 Majors. He was the 1996 PGA Rookie of the Year and won the PGA Tour Player of the Year 11 times. Offered is a signed rookie-era program from the NEC World Series of Golf championship at Firestone CC in Akron, Ohio, later renamed the NEC WGC Invitational. Tiger has signed the back of the program in deep dark black Sharpie ("10") with caddie Mike "Fluff" Cowan signed "Fluff" ("10") and fellow PGA Tour player Michael Bradley also included.
