ELUSIVE BABE!!! The super eclectic 1929 Exhibit Supply Star Picture Stamps postcard features the immortal Babe Ruth as one of the card's eight Hollywood personalities. The great Bambino is the highlight of this SGC 2 scarcity, which also includes the following movie stars: Tom Mix, Charles Lindbergh, Charlie Chaplin, Jack Dempsey, Harold Lloyd, Douglas Fairbanks, and Al Jolson. A Pop 1 rarity, it joins only seven other total encapsulated examples on the SGC Pop Report. The iconic Babe starred in several 1920s motion pictures, including Headin' Home (1920) and The Babe Comes Home (1927), and his image reveals Ruth showcasing his Babe Comes Home uniform. Boxing champion Jack Dempsey and renowned aviator Charles Lindbergh also made their film debuts in the 1920s, likewise leading to their appearance on this utmost scarcity.
