JOLTIN' JOE VS. RAPID BOB!!! This magnificent PSA Type 1 photo reveals the immortal Yankee Clipper taking a mighty swing against the Indians flame-throwing right-hander Bob Feller, and you can literally see the horsehide sphere jumping off of Joltin' Joe's bat towards third base. DiMaggio made a habit of connecting off of Rapid Bob, posting an incredible .342 lifetime average in 193 at-bats against the Cleveland Hall of Famer, 17 points higher than his .325 lifetime mark. Taken in the 1940s, this 7" x 9" image portrays the finest possible clarity and contrast imaginable, with only some faint surface scratches situated in the upper right quadrant.
