DOUBLE X AUTO!!! This 8" x 10" Jimmie Foxx photograph has been boldly signed "Kindest Regards - Jimmie Foxx" in bold blue fountain pen in the lower right quadrant. The highly coveted script has rightfully earned a PSA 9 MINT assessment, with the well-preserved image revealing Foxx donning his rarely seen catcher's equipment. One of baseball's greatest all-time first sackers, Double X did play a handful of games as the Athletics and Red Sox backstop, with his iconic legacy tied to his arguable stature as one of our National Pastime's greatest right-handed hitters. This powerful HOF legend consistently tested the limits of baseball's fences with his sheer power, ultimately leading to 534 round-trippers, 100 or more runs batted in in an incredible 13 consecutive seasons from 1929 through 1941, and winning the elusive AL Triple Crown in 1933. His supernatural strength placed fear in the hearts of most of his opposing pitchers, and he walloped 30 or more home runs in 12 consecutive seasons, including two seasons in which he hit 58 and 50 dingers!
