SCARCE SIGNED MANTLE PC!!! Issued in the 1956 era, this rare Mickey Mantle J.D. McCarthy postcard has been boldly signed "Best Wishes – Mickey Mantle", with the blue ballpoint pen PSA 9 autograph revealing a 1956-57 vintage Mantle signature. It's no secret that 1956 would be Mantle's finest season, with the Commerce Comet earning the AL Triple Crown with his 52 homers, 130 RBIs and outstanding 353 batting average, as well as leading the Yankees to a World Series title. A youthful-looking 24-year-old Mantle reveals an imposing right-handed batting stance in his classic Yankee pinstripes, as he provides the camera with one of his boyish grins. The unused clean verso exhibits a "J.D. McCarthy" caption, and most would agree this card presents itself in eye-pleasing VG fashion. Scarce to say the least, any Mantle signed card collector would be ecstatic to capture this postcard boasting a remarkable PSA 9 Mickey Mantle salutation!
