TIGER LILLY!!! After earning All-American honors at Texas Christian, defensive tackle Bob Lilly became the first EVER draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 1961 NFL Draft. He was the cornerstone of Dallas' famed "Doomsday Defense" and helped the Cowboys win Super Bowl VI in 1972. The Cowboys were the last team to beat the undefeated Miami Dolphins until September 23, 1973. Lilly spent 14 seasons in Big D, was named to 11 Pro Bowls and earned Hall of Fame status behind his 95.5 career sacks. Offered is a 1963 Topps #82 Bob Lilly rookie card graded 8 NM-MT by PSA.
