WILDMAN!!! For 15 years, from 1958 to 1972, Ray Nitschke was one of the most feared linebackers in the NFL and the captain of Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packer defensive corps. Drafted in what is considered the greatest draft in franchise history, along with Dan Currie and HOFers Jim Taylor and Jerry Kramer. Nitschke led the pack to five NFL championships and victories in Super Bowls I & II. His place in Canton was cemented in 1978. Offered here is a 1963 Topps #96 Ray Nitschke rookie card graded 8 NM-MT by PSA. This beautiful 8-holdered example remains in amazing condition with a superb face with strikingly sharp corners and edges. The colors are brilliant and centering is near perfect with a reverse that is virtually flawless. This rookie of the Packers defensive cornerstone from the '60s is sharp in every way.
