Jimmie Foxx became the second player in MLB history to hit 500 career home runs, after Babe Ruth. Achieving that mark at age 32 years 336 days, he held the record as the youngest player to reach 500 for 68 years until Alex Rodriguez surpassed him in 2007. His three career MVP awards are tied for second all-time, and he was the first to collect a trio. Offered is a gorgeous RDM Studio silver gelatin photo that measures approximately 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and on the back is stamped "RDM Studio - 847 Belmont Ave - Chicago", which was the studio of the famed photographer George Burke. Signed in deep blue fountain pen, this gorgeous signature grades 9 in strength.
