Of course, the Yankees would extend that streak to five consecutive titles, once again besting their archrival Dodgers in the '53 fall classic. These three Yankee legends would combine for 257 RBIs during the season, spearheading the Bronx Bombers to a pennant-winning 99 wins and their unprecedented fifth consecutive championship.
