The 252-card 1952 Bowman Baseball set retained the card size of 2-1/16" x 3-1/8" used the prior year, but the reception was slightly more muted with the decreased size of the set, the lack of rookie talent in 1951, big name omissions like Jackie Robinson and Ted Williams, and, most notably, the hugely popular Topps issue from that season. However, the allure of the set remains as it is still a colorful issue, and given the 252-card count as opposed to Topps' 407-card release, the 1952 Bowman set is far simpler to assemble in high-grade as we have here.
