Offered here is a completed PSA-graded 1936 Four-on-One Exhibits set listed as #4 on the current PSA Set Registry. This 16-card set of 64 players, each measuring approximately 3-3/8" by 5-5/8", features some of the Hall of Fame greats from the 1930s, including Jimmie Foxx, Lefty Grove, Dizzy Dean, Frankie Frisch, Carl Hubbell, Mel Ott and Lou Gehrig, to name a few. These blank-backed issues appear in either slate blue or olive green with the player's name and team printed below their photos. Keys to this 1936 Exhibit Four-on-One set are Lazzeri/Gomez/Gehrig/Ruffing (PSA 5), Medwick/Frisch/J. Dean/P. Dean (PSA 5), Cronin/Ferrell/Foxx/Grove (PSA 5.5), Cochrane/Goslin/Rowe/Gehringer (PSA 6) and P. Waner/Traynor/Bush/Vaughn (PSA 5). This #4 ranked Set Registry edition includes four POP 1 examples, one POP 2 and three POP 3s. The Averill/Harder/Trosky/Vosmik card is the highest graded example, and there are two with only a single card eclipsing the grade and three with a pair surpassing the assessment.
