1933 Exhibits 4 on 1 Complete PSA Registered Set - #5 on Set Registry
Offered here is a rare complete set of 1933 Four-on-One Exhibits, which have all been graded by PSA and rank #5 on PSA's Current Set Registry list. Each of the 16 colorful four-player cards measures 3-3/8" by 5-5/8" and features teammates appearing in black-green, orange, red and yellow. This first Exhibit Company four-player release is a virtual Who's Who of Hall of Famers, including Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Mickey Cochrane, Lefty Grove, Chick Hafey, Heinie Manush, Freddie Fitzsimmons, the Waner brothers and more. In fact, a few of the cards feature four Hall of Famers on one card. This blank-backed assembly is anchored by the Yankees Dickey/Lazzeri/Pennock/Ruth issue as well as the A's Cochrane/Foxx/Grove/Simmons exhibit. The offered set consists of low-pop example, including the highest graded Dickey/Lazzeri/Pennock/Ruth earning a 5 EX assessment. The Philadelphia A's example has been graded 1.5 FR as only a POP 1 with a mere three issues achieving a higher grade. Included are seven POP 1, six POP 2 and three POP 3 issues. Ten of these examples have three or fewer cards graded higher, and no more than five cards eclipse any from the offered set.
