BULLS WIN #1!!! The Chicago Bulls broke out in the 1990-91 season snatching the Eastern Conference from the two-time reigning NBA champion Detroit Pistons. Led by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, John Paxton and Horace Grant, the Bulls posted a 61-21 record with winning streaks of 11 games, nine games and two seven-game runs. They were among the top three teams in field goal percentage, 3-point percentage and 2-point percentage and 7th in total points. After winning the East, the Bulls went on to dispatch the New York Knicks 3-0, the Philadelphia 76ers 4-1 and then the Motor City Bad Boys of Detroit 4-1 to earn the franchise's first NBA Finals berth facing the Magic Johnson-led Los Angeles Lakers.

After the Lakers took Game 1, the Bulls shut them down for the remainder of the series to win 4-1, capturing Chicago's first NBA Finals championships. Michael Jordan averaged an astonishing 31.2 points per game to earn the NBA FINALS MVP, the first of his six honors. The offered vinyl, light pole banner, measuring 97" x 30-1/2" celebrates the 1990-91 NBA Championship. Potentially hanging along the parade route on Michigan Avenue this double-sided red and black banner features "CHICAGO BULLS" at the top in team colors with the mascot Bull logo beneath it "1990-91 NBC CHAMPS" at center with a white basketball below and "CITY OF CHICAGO – RICHARD M. DALEY, MAYOR" at the bottom in white. This is still in amazing condition with only light soiling, wind slits and pole pockets.
