Old Timers Multi-Signed ONL Baseball with Sandy Koufax, George Brett & 22 Others - PSA/DNA LOA

Though each team began the tradition at different times, the Old Timers Game dates back as far as 1947 when the New York Yankees held their first celebration of former "pinstripers". Fans could witness the players they only heard about suit up once more. In 1965, 14 years after he retired, Joe DiMaggio hit a grand slam at Yankees Stadium to the delight of the crowd. In 1982, 75-year-old Luke Appling bashed a home run over the left field fence at Washington's RFK Stadium off 373-game winner Warren Spahn. It's moment like these that made the Old Timers Games so appealing to fans from all generations. Offered is a 1970s or '80s era Charles Feeney Official National League baseball featuring 24 Old Timer signatures from stars and Hall of Famers of major League Baseball. Highlighting the softly toned sphere are Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Sutton, Bert Blyleven and George Brett as well as star like Tom Brunansky, Fred Lynn, Rick Honeycutt, Bret Saberhagen and Tommy John. Overall, the ball remains lightly toned with autographs presenting in "8-10" strength. PSA/DNA LOA included.
