Jackie Robinson Signed Letter to Topps VP Sy Berger - PSA-Encapsulated Authentic
Upon his retirement from Major League Baseball, Jackie Robinson, always the trailblazer, became the first African American to serve as Vice President for a major American corporation when he joined Chock Full o'Nuts as VP of Personnel from 1957 to 1964. The offered is a typewritten and Robinson signed note addressed to Sy Berger, Vice President of Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. thanking him for Jackie's inclusion on Berger's Honorary Committee. This correspondence on Chock Full o'Nuts letterhead, dated December 22, 1961, has been signed "Jackie Robinson" in blue ballpoint as the salutation is 8-9 strength and has been encased Authentic by PSA/DNA. The note presents two vertical tri-fold creases and another horizontal fold for envelope enclosure. Still in amazing condition, this PSA/DNA certified offers one of the most desirable Hall of Fame signatures from one of the most impactful subjects in baseball history, not to mention industry, Jackie Robinson.
