(LOT 121)
Outstanding 1924 Babe Ruth Signed Insurance Premium Document w/a Bold "George Herman Ruth" Autograph – PSA 9 Mint AUTO; PSA Encapsulation

Finding pre-1925 Babe Ruth signed artifacts is a painstaking task, with most of the existing Bambino scripted collectibles dating from the late 1920s through the year he passed away in 1948. Furthermore, a majority of Ruth's signed collectibles include a "Babe Ruth" or "G.H. Ruth" signature, with his true George Herman Ruth name seldom surfacing for the taking. That said, presented here just happens to be one of the more extraordinary autographed Babe Ruth items you will ever come across, a 1924 Life Insurance Premium document that has been signed "George Herman Ruth" in bold blue fountain pen.

Dated October 7, 1924, PSA has assigned the highly coveted 9 MINT grade for the timeless autograph, with the document safely secured in PSA's desirable clear holder. Although the Yankees would not win the 1924 pennant, the '24 campaign once again proved very prosperous for the Sultan of Swat's batting statistics with Ruth pacing the Junior Circuit in homers (46) batting average (.378), total bases (391), and the critical OPS (1.252). Indeed, the Babe was continuing his onslaught of overmatched American League hurlers, with Ruth claiming his sixth home run title.

It would be directly after the end of the '24 campaign that he would sign this one of a kind EQUITABLE LIFE INSURANCE SOCIETY premium with his hallowed and rarely seen George Herman Ruth full name. Other than a few staple holes situated near the upper left quadrant and some negligible vertical creasing folds, the document has remained in fine eye pleasing condition. A remarkable relic from Ruth's early Yankee years, it serves as a sheer reminder of how this giant of a man captivated an adoring Nation, leading to an abundance of passionate collectors seeking out his rarest autographed artifacts such as this unique offering!
