This 1921 Newspaper Enterprise Association Type 1 photo portrays the great Rogers Hornsby in a captivating batting pose, with "The Rajah" arguably standing as our National Pastime's greatest all-time right-handed hitter. The immortal Hornsby was widely considered baseball's foremost batter during the 1920s via his unfathomable five-year run from 1921 thru 1925 that produced three .400+ batting seasons and a record-setting .401 batting average over that historic span!
