Rare Partial Uncut Sheet B18 Blankets (18) Featuring Joe Jackson - Faded
Presented is a partial sheet of B18 Blankets, measuring 18" x 35", containing many of the rarer subjects included in the B18 set of "blankets" highlighted by "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. Pulled from production prior to getting the full color treatment normally seen on the issue, this partial sheet contains only the base brown/brownish hues and outlines that create the foundation on which everything else is printed. HOFers and stars (from top left to bottom right) are as follows: Mitchell, Steele, Chapman, Bassler, Sallee, Wilson, Turner, Huggins, Graney, Joe Jackson, J. Miller, Whitted, Olson, Doak, Leibold, O'Neill, Robinson and Dolan. There are six casualties (not included in the list) in the array of "half" blankets due to sheet layout. This is one of only a handful of examples making this a very unique and scarce find from decades gone by.
