REGIONAL KNUCKLES!!! This is an exceptional example of a high-grade regional issue from the Famous & Barr Company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Despite the notorious end to Cicotte's career, his tenure with the Chicago White Sox was very successful with eight-straight campaign of double-digit wins including leading the American League with 28 victories in 1917 and 29 wins in 1919. Astounding centering with clean sharp edges and corners. Minimal toning. Reverse remains cleans with bold text boasting the Famous & Barr brand. This is a beautiful card and certainly shows better than the technical grade. An absolute beauty from Cicotte's days in the Windy City.
