1928 Babe Ruth Single Signed American League Baseball JSA LOA
Imagine being 16 years old in 1928, winning a sales subscription contest by signing up 10 new subscribers for a newspaper and the next thing you know, the prize is to go to a baseball game at Comiskey Park and watch the Sox play one of the greatest baseball teams of All-Time, the New York Yankees. And then you're handed a baseball and you end of getting the GREAT BAMBINO right on the sweet spot. No one else, just the Sultan Of Swat. That happened to Elmer F. Florin who was born 11/11/11. And this Grand Prize also included "Hot Dogs and Pop" and "dinner on the way home to Fort Atkinson". With the original blue box included, this Rawlings American League sphere has been signed on the sweet spot by the Babe himself. Signature in our opinion grades about a 7/7.5. Authenticated by JSA, the baseball not only comes with a JSA LOA but a letter typed and signed by the original owner describing that day at Comiskey Park when a 16 year old experienced the best day of his life. JSA reports the year, "1928" is written in an unknown hand.
