Incredible WHEATIES Collection from 1935-41 Including Sets, Singles of Baseball & Football all PSA Graded and Raw including Gehrig, Foxx, DiMaggio, Ott, Hubbell, Feller & More
WHEATIES!!! In 1933-34, the breakfast cereal Wheaties started to include pictures of high profile on its packages to tie in with its slogan, "The Breakfast of Champions." In its original form, athletes were showcases on the sides or back of the cereal box. In 1958 Wheaties began placing the pictures on the front of the box. Since 1933 this has included hundreds of athletes and duos from many different sports, and also team depictions. Most athletes in the 30's & 40's appeared on the standard Wheaties box. A very popular collectible for the sports fan during that time. Finding them now, almost 100 years later is a very difficult task. We are excited to be offering this new to the hobby, from a long time collector, a significant run of these Wheaties Player Panels all Hand Cut from the original box during the 30's & 40's. This incredible collection is from 1935-1940 and contains Complete Sets & Singles from Baseball, Football, College Football and more. The overall condition of these cards are VG-EX with some better and worse and obviously all Hand Cut. There are 8 cards that are PSA graded and indicated. Each year is broken down as follows with condition and players names. A few condition notes as follows on these Hand Cut Wheaties: Mark on Back (MOB), Paper on Back (POB).
