1972 Topps # Hank Aaron (PSA Gem Mint 10) - One of 4 Highest Graded Examples!
Rarely does even the most sophisticated collector have an opportunity to capture a virtually "perfect" 45-year old baseball card, especially when it is an immortal Hall of Fame subject from the condition-sensitive 1972 Topps set. Courtesy of our esteemed consignor, presented here is an incomprehensible PSA Gem Mint 10 Hank Aaron marvel that along with 3 other PSA copies, stands as the best of the rest! Due to their common off-centered and tilted images, the 1972 Topps subjects are among the toughest cards to find with eye pleasing aesthetics.
Indeed, an elite enthusiast's painstaking search for "non-tilted" specimens can seem like an infinite quest, but courtesy of our esteemed consignor, this breathtaking Aaron offering is now yours for the taking. Strongly meriting the premier grade, every possibly technical aspect is consistent with perfection, including Aaron's crystal-clear batting image, rich red and green hues, blinding white borders, a perfectly cut razor sharp perimeter sporting four pinpoint corners and gleaming surfaces. However, it is the extremely fine centering (only slightly favoring the left edge) and "non-tilted" image that "steals the show", leaving the illustrious PSA Grading Company no alternative but to reward this time defying prize with the near-impossible "Gem Mint 10" assessment!
