Jackie Robinson Signed "Inter Faith Inter Racial Thanksgiving Service" Program Framed PSA/DNA LOA
Memory Lane is proud to offer this 9" x 6" program from an interfaith and interracial Thanksgiving service from November 24th, 1953. Signed in the top left-hand corner is the signature of the first African American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era, Jackie Robinson. Robinson broke the color line when he started at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947. Robinson has added his NM-MT signature with the salutation "Best Wishes". A great piece of "let's all come together" mentality. Robinson was quite the caring and humble man.
