Extremely rare August 14, 1920 New York Yankees at Washington Senators Program Scorecard at Griffith Stadium. The program is in very good condition, with a small tear on the front cover and a 1" bottom corner tear on the back. The scorecard is scored. In this game, Babe Ruth hit his 42nd home run of 1920 off of Jim Shaw of the Senators. The 42nd home run was, at that point in the 1920 season, a major league record for most home runs in a season. Babe Ruth went on to hit a major league record 54 home runs that year. Babe Ruth's batting average at the conclusion of the game was .388. Babe Ruth's home run was home run #91 of the 714 career regular-season home runs that he hit. The Senators won the game 3-2, and the attendance at the game was 15,000.
