2008 Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel & Chris Shiflett Multi-Signed Drumhead JSA LOA
The Foo Fighters have arguably been the most successful rock band of the past three decades, producing 11 studio albums and having had many of the most successful tours worldwide of any artist in that span. The band, fronted by lead guitarist Dave Grohl with Nate Mendel on bass, has gone through a few members, but the core ultimately featured Chris Shiflett on guitar and Taylor Hawkins on drums. In 2007, following the release of their sixth studio album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, the Foo Fighters played 131 concerts, including a two-night stint in Las Vegas. Offered is a drumhead from their 2008 appearance at Las Vegas' The Joint (Sept. 25-26). This drumhead is marked in black on the edge "Foo Fighters – The Joint" and features signatures from Grohl, Shiflett, Mendel and Hawkins, all 9-10 strength. Considering the band has only played three times at The Joint and Pat Smear was with the band in 2019, we believe this 18" REMO drumhead derives from that 2008 two-night jam.
