CHAMPIONS OF THE NL SET!!! Cards from the 1919 Cincinnati Reds Postcard set are rarely offered and, furthermore, complete sets are next to impossible to find. The cards come in two varieties: Champions of the National League (issued before the World Series) and World Champions (issued after the World Series), the offered is a complete set of the former. This set appears to be in rather nice mid-grade condition; however, when viewing the backs, all cards have remnants of glue consistent with inclusion and removal from an album. Despite the rather low grades any grading service might assign to these cards, this rare set presents a real gem of an opportunity to add a truly overlooked set representing a very storied time from baseball's past! Overall Poor condition due to the glue residue on the backs of each of the 24 cards included.
