1946 Propagandas Montiel Los Reyes Del Deporte #64 Stan Musial PSA 1 PR

CUBAN STAN THE MAN!!! The 1948 Bowman #36 Stan Musial is considered to be the career-St. Louis Cardinal's rookie card across the hobby. Oddly enough, it surfaced seven years after his debut on September 17, 1941. However, in 1946, the Cuban Propagandas Montiel Los Reyes Del Portes set featured the two-time NL MVP one card #64. In 1946 alone, Stan the Man led the NL in nearly all of the major offensive categories, including runs (124), hits (228), doubles (50), triples (20), average (.365), slugging (.587) and total bases (366). Offered here is a 1946 Propagandas Montiel Los Reyes Del Deporte #64 Stan Musial graded 1 PR by PSA; one of only 28 non-qualified examples ever graded by PSA. This ultra-rare presents familiar off-centering with yellow bordering at top and left. A minute waterspot rests left of Musial's image and only minor border and corner wear is evident. The reverse, which offers Musial's bio in Spanish, displays minor discoloration at the right and top borders with lesser paper loss along the left border. Despite the relatively low assessment due to the flaws listed here, this 1946 Propagandas Montiel Los Reyes Del Deporte #64 Stan Musial has only eleven superiors making it one of the rarer Stan Musial issues in existence.
