The Hall of Famer claimed 300 lifetime wins, ably assisted by a blazing fastball that led to Grove leading the Junior Circuit in strikeouts seven consecutive seasons, owning an MLB record nine single-season ERA titles, and being the last southpaw to win 30+ games via his 31-4 record in 1931.
