1955 Bowman #202 Mickey Mantle PSA 7 NM
NEAR-MINT MICK!!! Presented here is a stellar PSA 7 NM 1955 Bowman Mantle that has retained a majority of its original wood-grain border. When considering the composition of the 1955 Bowman cards and their ultra-condition sensitive borders, it's remarkable that this offering only reveals a diminutive surface abrasion on the upper left border. Mantle's classic batting pose depicts fine resolution and contrast as he completes his mighty right-handed swing, boasting his road gray Yankee flannels. The relatively well-centered image modestly favors the right edge, and no glaring surface blemishes are evident. Extremely light, even corner wear is consistent with the assessment, and the sparkling hues and gleaming obverse side surface are the final superlatives supporting the seldom surfacing near-mint assessment.
