1942 Babe Ruth Signed Score Book PSA Auto Grade 9 MINT with LOA and Ticket Stub from 1942 Hollywood Stars at Gilmore Field April 2nd PSA 2 Good
The Pacific Coast League had a large following before Major League Baseball reached across the Mississippi. Many of the game's greats began their careers or settled into retirement in the PCL, including Hall of Famers Lazzeri, DiMaggio, Lombardi, Waner, Lasorda, Stengel, Averill, E. Martinez and Gaylord Perry. This program was secured at Gilmore Field in April of 1942. Even in retirement, Babe Ruth could stir a crowd. The Bambino must have taken in the April 2, 1942 game between the Stars and Oakland Oaks. While the offered program has suffered some water damage, the Ruth pencil signature on the front is still strong and has been graded a MINT 9 by PSA/DNA. The program is scored. Also included is a stub from the game, graded PSA 2 GOOD. A great lot of two pieces that definitely go hand in hand. Comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA attesting to the PSA 9 MINT Auto grade.
