Babe Ruth Signed Fan Letter PSA/DNA Auto Grade 9 MINT
Less than five months before Ruth passed, a fan by the name of Steve Shuster wrote to the Babe. Here's what was written: "Dear Babe, I am a boy, ten years of age. You're my favorite baseball player. I would be very happy if you would send me your autograph. Thank you! Yours truly, Steve Shuster". Dated February 28th, 1948 and sent from 30 Fairfield Place, Yonkers, N.Y. Most likely days later, good old Steve gets his letter back, but this time, Babe Ruth has sent him his autograph right under Shuster's name. A great keepsake for this kid who would hold onto it for many years, and now Memory Lane has the privilege of offering this letter in auction. PSA has authenticated, encapsulated and graded this amazing Yankee Legend's signed piece with a MINT 9!
