FORD WINS EIGHTH!!!... Still on a high after the M&M Boys' assault on Babe Ruth's 34-year-old home run record of 60 with Roger Maris surpassing Ruth on the final day of the regular season, the New York Yankees beat up on the Cincinnati Reds 5-games-to-1 to win the franchise's 19th title. This Game 1 entry pass ticket stub marks Whitey Ford's eighth victory in 15 World Series starts. Ford was named WS MVP. Offered is a 1961 World Series Game 1 ticket stub graded VG-EX 4 (MK) by PSA. Light ink stain is evident on the reverse accounting for the MK qualifier.
