1933 World Series Official 20 page Scorecard – The Washington Nationals vs. The New York Giants
Offered here is a 1933 World Series scorecard program featuring the two Hall of Fame managers, Joe Cronin (WAS) and Bill Terry (NYG) on the front. The front cover of this "Souvenir Scorecard World's Series 1933" shows the outside of the Capitol rotunda in black and white, a red, white and blue segment of Old Glory, and the two managers side-by-side against a radiant yellow background. Still in excellent condition, this 89-year-old keepsake presents minimal signs of handling wear and creasing at the bottom of the front and little else with a pristine back and unscored preprinted scorecard. This is a wonderfully well-preserved piece of baseball history when the Giants prevailed 4-1 over the Senators in the '33 Fall Classic.
