1983 National League All-Stars Team Multi-Signed ONL Baseball with Lasorda, Raines, Schmidt & 20 Others - PSA/DNA LOA (Partly shellacked)
Chicago's historic Comiskey Park played host to the 1983 MLB All-Star Game on July 6, 1983 in front of a crowd of more than 43,000. The offered is an ONL ball signed by 23 members of the losing squad. Included on the ball are Darrell Evans, Pedro Guerrero and Bill Madlock as well as Hall of Famers Whitey Herzog (SS), Tommy Lasorda, Tim Raines, Gary Carter, Johnny Bench, Mike Schmidt and Joe Torre to name a few. All signatures have been authenticated by PSA/DNA with only the Hank Aaron being deemed clubhouse. The ball is still in excellent condition with toning and partially shellacked consistent throughout. Signatures present in "8-9" strength. As far as the game goes, the AL trounced the NL team by a score of 13-3 after a historic seven-run third inning when San Francisco's Atlee Hammaker gave up six hits including a Fred Lynn grand slam in 2/3 of an inning.
