1948 Bowman #69 George Mikan Rookie "No Red Ink On Front" PSA Authentic Altered
MINNEAPOLIS MIKAN!!! George Mikan was one of the first true stars of the NBA. His scoring prowess was second to none during his time on the hardwood as he captured three scoring titles, earned four All-Star nods and won five BAA/NBA championships as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers. He led the NBA three times in points-per-game and finished his seven-year career with 23.1 points per game. Offered here is a 1948 Bowman #69 George Mikan Rookie with No Red Ink on the Front graded Authentic/Altered by PSA. Only 19 total examples of this rare Rookie of one of the greatest centers in NBA history exist and there are only four superiors with 14 equally graded cards. Very rare to say the least, this rarity, cut from the original oversized sheet, is one for even the best of collections as there is no added color or visible alterations detectable.
