1964 Cleveland Browns Reunion Autographed Helmet with 48 Signatures including HOFers Brown, Warfield and Hickerson
For the first time in 17 seasons, since their first play from scrimmage in 1946, the Cleveland Browns were helmed by someone other than Paul Brown, the team's namesake. New head coach Blanton Collier led the Browns to the 10-4 record in 1963. The following year, in 1964, Cleveland, under Blanton, went 10-3-1 to win the Eastern Division Championship and a shot at the heavily favored Baltimore Colts, led by Johnny Unitas in the NFL Championship. The Browns offense carved up the Colts "D" as fullback Jim Brown rushed for 114 yards and quarterback Frank Ryan threw three touchdown passes to receiver Gary Collins, defeating Baltimore 27-0 in one of the great upsets in NFL Championship Game history. Offered here is a 1964 NFL Champion Cleveland Browns Riddell replica reunion helmet signed by the 40 players from that championship squad including Hall of Famers Jim Brown, Paul Warfield and Gene Hickerson. (Missing only HOFer Lou Groza, who passed away in 2000.)
