Stan Musial's FINAL GAME/HIT #3630 Ticket Stub PSA 4 VG-EX

STAN HANGS 'EM UP!!! Over the course of his career, St. Louis Cardinals outfielder and first baseman Stan Musial dominated National League pitchers to the tune of 3,630 hits, including 475 home runs and won three NL MVP Awards. The beloved Cardinals was an offensive dynamo leading the league in at least one offensive category every year for fifteen straight seasons from 1943 to 1958. (His 1945 season was lost to service in WWII.) Musial holds one of the great and often overlooked statistics in MLB history as he amassed 1,815 hits at home and away, substantiating his dominance no matter where he took his at-bats. His 20 All-Star Game appearances is tied with Willie Mays and second only to Hank Aaron's 21 nods. Offered here is a Stan Musial's FINAL GAME/Hit #3630 Ticket Stub PSA 4 VG-EX. Playing against the Cincinnati Reds, Musial lined a single past Reds rookie second baseman Pete Rose to score Curt Flood for the first run of the game and was immediately pulled for a pinch runner to the chagrin of Cardinals fans there to see The Man in his final game. This would be his 3,630 hits and 1,951st RBI of his career. This snow-white stub has been encased 4 VG-EX by PSA and is easily one of the most significant pieces of Cardinals history not to mention Major League Baseball. Stan The Man hung up his cleats for the final time and the MLB lost a hero who was destined for Cooperstown.
